The first battery system Evisol is developing is based on the Lithium-Polymer cells from Kokam Ltd. (South-Korea).  Kokam offers Li-Po cells with excellent properties which make them very suitable for the use in traction batteries for EV's:

-high energy content

-high power

-low weight

-long life time (cycle- and calender life)

-no memory effects

-no environmental hazardous materials 

The Li-Po cells will be stacked in a series (and parallel if required) configuration inside a firm housing. For safety reasons, the battery system will be equipped with internal main contactors. Each cell will be equipped with a module charger for charging and monitoring of the cell.

When a Li-Po based battery system cannot be used in a certain application, Evisol can always help to find the right battery system required for this system. Our knowledge of traction batteries assures the right choice.
