Inverter

The EVI-200 inverter is designed to meet the following 4 basics:

-    extreme reliable components, even in high demanding automotive applications

-    powerful and efficient power stage

-    freely programmable, to ensure flexible integration in a wide range of applications

-    the price / quality ratio has to be excellent

To be able to meet the first design goal, the EVI-200 only consists of 3 modules: the power stage, the control board and a firm housing.  The water cooled power stage as well as the control board are designed in cooperation with reliable and well  experienced partners in the power electronics industry. The focus has been put on the use of highly reliable components for these 2 modules. The robust housing will protect the power stage and the control board, makes it possible to firmly connect the DC voltage terminals (DC in) and motor (AC out). Waterproof interface connectors are used for the inverter control cables.

High power and efficiency is obtained by using a power stage that uses a modern and powerful  IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transisitor) module in combination with smart algorithms for the control of the IGBT module.

Because the EV market has not fully matured yet, the EVI-200 had to be designed with a powerful control system. This makes it possible to use the same hardware (to reduce production costs), while changing the functionality by changing existing or adding new software modules when required. The EVI-200 is the right solution for a wide range of applications.

The EVI-200 will be launched into the market at a very competitive price. We at Evisol strongly believe that the high price of electric drive systems nowadays, hinders successful introduction of EV's into the world market. We expect that competitive pricing, combined with the high performance and reliability of the EVI-200, will rapidly increase the sales and enables Evisol to produce the inverter in relative high numbers.
