Thorr, Evisol's fully electric sportscar, has made it's first trip abroad. Thorr has been sent to the country where it's name originates from, Norway.

Thorr, still in it's childhood,  has been sprinting against a powerfull Subaru but unfortunately lost. Thorr is using very cheap batteries, for the moment. The maximum power from these batteries is 76kW.  Still the difference between the Subaru is not that big due to the absence of gear shifts and the light weight.

For a video of this dual agaist the Subaru please have a look at:  http://pub.tv2.no/nettavisen/bil/article1062524.ece

Next step in Thorr's developement is the use of 100 high-power Lithium Polymer cells. This will give Thorr a maximum power of 100kW.

Shortly after the battery upgrade, the current Simotion inverter will be replaced by an EVI-200 and 100 extra high power LiPo cells. This will give Thorr a maximum power of 200kW and 450Nm of torque (at the motor shaft). The range will be up to 240km's, fully depending on 'the weight of the foot' of the driver. Then Thorr has reached maturity!  Time for some serious action, let the Ferrari's and Porsche's come!!
